St. Francisville is a town in Louisiana with approximately 1,700 residents, situated north of Baton Rouge. The St. Francisville Police Department conducted a web-based reverse sting which resulted in the arrest of seven men. Deputies reported that immediately after the decoy ad was posted, their phones “rang off the hook.” Callers were told to go to a motel in St. Francisville where an undercover agent waited in a room, posing as a woman selling sex. The identities of the arrestees were released to local news outlets.
