Pamelia is a town of about 3,000 residents in Jefferson County, New York.  Prostitution has been documented in the community, as have arrests of sex buyers:  by state police and charged with two counts of third-degree patronizing a prostitute, a class “A” misdemeanor.  The charges stemmed from engaging in sexual conduct with two female victims in exchange for money on several occasions in June 2019 at a motel located in Pamelia.  The man was issued tickets and ordered to appear in the town of Pamelia court.  His identity was included in news reports.
