Newport is a suburb of Cincinnati located in northern Kentucky, and has a population of roughly 15,500.  The city has a century-long reputation as a center of the prostitution in the metro area.  In an effort to reduce prostitution and associated problems, Newport has attempted to reduce consumer-level demand for prostituted women through conducting reverse stings.
